The change of solvent composition in the offset ink can influence the drying process of prints, tackiness, i.e. picking of the printing substrate during printing, usability of the pigment, the balance stste of ink - wetting solution, and the ecological usage suitability of materials and processes. The colorimetric properties of model inks of different composition and solvent concentration in relation to the conventional ones are described in the article. The relevant parameters of the printing quality made by such inks are presented. Fine arts papers and recycledpapers were used as the printing substrate. Optical and some mechanical properties of impressions during ageing for different periods in relation to the composition and colorimetric properties of ink, kind of printing substrate and the print quality are discussed in the article. |
