Popis: The calculation of the lubricant layer thickness using a fluid mechanics approach is shown for the case of cold drawing of metals. Examples of calculation for a solid lubricant layer and a different geometry of the die entering angle are shown. The calculation of the effect of inertial force by great drawing speed on lubricant layer thickness is treated, also.
