Popis: Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction characterised by acute systemic manifestations mediated by immunoglobulin E. Anaphylactoid reactions present with a similar life threatening symptoms, but triggered by mechanisms independent of IgE antibodies. Treatment for anaphylaxis is epinephrine and H1 antihistamines. New consensus guidelines on emergency treatment of anaphylaxis are accepted.
