The term technical quality furniture most often implies the durability and endurance of furniture construction. Although an important segment, technical quality is not the only criteria of product quality. The quality of such a product is conditioned by several factors. Just the right choice and their ranking leads to satisfying the user and the success of the product on the market. The usual process of designing furniture is based largely on the experience constructor reliance and knowledge of the properties of the applied constructional assemblies. The aim of the work was to define and select the criteria for furniture design and to determine their importance in determining the quality of finished products. The criteria which were applied on the example of designing showcases with console shelves which, by moving their position within the vitrines, should allow the presentation of different object. |
