Modelling and Simulation of the Cold Direct Extrusion Force

Popis: To know the deformation force of the plastic deforming process is exceptionally significant for mould projecting, selection of the processing system and calculation of deformation energy. This paper shows experimental determination of the direct cold extrusion force of the steel 16 MnCr5 and mathematical modeling of the force as function of deformation degree and coefficient of the contact traction at the 30° extrusion angle. Computer simulation of the extrusion process force has performed by finite elements method (FEM) using the software DEFORM 2D. Results gained by mathematical model and finite elements method have been compared in between as well as with analytically results. Verification of the applied methods for deformation force determination is done according to the results experimentally achieved. Exactness of the mentioned methods has been determinate according to the following scheme: experiment, mathematical model, FEM method, analytical model.
