Introducing mechanics and ideas from the domain of games to the serious world is no laughing matter, and has the potential of being seriously time- consuming. If menial tasks were handed over to various methods of artificial intelligence, the process might become somewhat more approachable. After an introduction to the domain of video and serious games, and a gentle prologue towards the domain and the methods of artificial intelligence, the main part of this event is planned as a discussion on the ideas towards automated generating of serious games, along with the role of semantic modelling and knowledge technologies therein. Some of the discussed ideas will be related to the O_HAI 4 Games project led by AI Lab @ FOI, UniZg. |
