Popis: This article presents energy optimization in polyisoprene manufacturing using flue gases heat recovery. The flue gases heat recovery in this process reduce fuel consumption and the temperature of exhaust flue gases. This approach is based on the energy analyses, which include the technological process from the initial raw material to the finite product. One of the very common optimization methods for fuel consumption apply decreasing is boiler flue gases heat for feed water preheating presented in this paper. The evaluation of energy efficiency improvements due to heat recovery in synthetic Polyisoprene production is shown. The investigation presents the reduction possibility of natural gas consumption using flue gases heat recovery for feed water preheating. Applying economizer allows feed water preheating by returning the heat carried by flue gases back to the process. The gas consumption is reduced by 11.13%, while flue gases temperature outlet to the surroundings is lowered from \mathrm{;204\degc}; to \mathrm{;50.99\degc};, thus reducing the heat pollution in the environment.
