Popis:	The presentation deals with translations of Italian children’s literature in Croatia. A bibliography of translations of Italian authors shows the constant presence of three Italian authors: Carlo Collodi, Edmondo de Amicis, and Gianni Rodari. The historical, socio-political and cultural context in which the translations of their works occurred has been investigated. The reasons for retranslations are explained.
