This paper describes user interfaces of the Panoptes System and problems related to tailoring of presentation of information and data to users. The system has two distinct groups of interfaces, one that is used by Content Providers to input notification and subscription data, and the other presented to End Users that receive the notifications they have subscribed to, or requested. Media used to input notification information are Web and SMS technologies, while media used to receive notifications consist of primarily SMS and e-mail technology, with possibilities of using other media such as fax, voice messages, etc. |
