Popis: Improvement in quality-of-life has become a key objective in care management of allergic disorders. Impairment of HRQoL in asthma may be due to concomitant allergic diseases. Methods: Paediatric Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (PAQLQ) was used in 96 asthmatic children age 7-17 years. In this sample 29 children had only diagnosed asthma, 52 had asthma in co morbidity with rhinitis, 15 children had co morbidity of asthma and atopic dermatitis. Results: For every group of children global score on HRQol, and scores of each main domain of Questionnaire is compared. For comparation we used t- test for independent sample and nonparametric Mann- Whitney test. Results showed statistically significant differences between asthmatic children without co morbidity and children with co morbidity of asthma and atopic dermatitis in overall scores of Qol (t= 2.20 ; p =0.036) and in domains of activity (t =2.56, p =0.016) and emotion (t =2.30 ; p =0.027). There was no statistical difference found between group of children with asthma and rhinitis and asthmatic children without co morbidity in overall scores as in all main domains. Conclusion: Although we cannot separate the independent effect of other allergic diseases on asthma HRQoL, from our results atopic dermatitis can cause impairment of HRQol in asthmatic children, while allergic rhinitis don’ t have such negative impact on HRQol. Even in a much larger study, it will be difficult to accurately separate these three components
