One of the imperative guidelines of intelligent transport systems in urban areas is the new method of using car: car sharing, which has fully developed the idea of using cars as alternative to ownership. Stimulated by the soon-to-be-implemented service of car sharing in Croatia, this paper is intended to present precisely this new method of using vehicles.
