This paper shows results of theoretical analysis and empirical research concerning the future of school. Research samples included students of Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka. Method applied was a study of random cases, and the data was acquired through the essay technique. A significant majority of tested students concluded that school or organized forms of learning will continue to exist in the future. They believe that versatile motivations, contents and learning resources will be present in the future society. Reorganisation of school powered by information technology will produce new methods, organizational patterns and relationships between students and teachers. Future school will become a new base for cognitive revolution without power related monopolisation of information. Contemporary changes if the status of student and teacher today will be more influencing in future society. In the “ present future” successfulness will be determined by the way we collect and use information. |
