Popis:	Dimensional changes during relaxation process of cotton plain-knitted fabrics are discussed. A wide range of cotton fibres were encompassed: Egyptian, Turkish and Sudan in counts of 14, 20 and 25 tex. It was found that wet treatment with dry tumbling couses higher levels of relaxation and larger changes in shape of fabrics. An experimental investigation shows that dimensions are dependent, besides on stitch length, on yarn diameter.
