This paper presents a linear and nonlinear buckling and postbuckling numerical analysis with influence of imperfections. In the first step, an approach of analytic and numerical linear buckling analysis of a bar with linear- elastic material was used. After linear buckling analysis of a bar, nonlinear buckling analysis with Riks method was performed. Since the nonlinear analysis was performed in the case of ideal loading, to get correct and more realistic information of postbuckling response, imperfections and plastification of material must be considered. Imperfections in this case are load eccentricities. Nonlinear analysis with imperfections and elasto-plastic material shows that even for very small values of eccentricity, the postbuckling behavior become unstable. Numerical analysis was performed in software Abaqus 6.10. |
