The Krka bridge is a part of A1 Zagreb – Split highway. Structure of the bridge consists of a hinge-less reinforced concrete arch and lightweight composite bridge deck which leans on concrete columns. Statical load consisted of 16 heavy trucks for phases of arch loading and eight trucks for single span loading phases. Testing was carried out through total of 33 phases of loading and load releases. Displacements were measured by surveying method of leveling on all significant points of the bridge. Strains were measured at 32 measuring points, 12 in the bridge arch and 20 in the main girders of the bridge deck. Dynamic testing of the bridge was carried out to determine dynamic parameters of the structure which are of the highest significance for the future diagnostic of structure in exploitation, since they are functions of global stiffness of every structure and are as such the best index of real condition of the structure. All experimentally acquired results are compared with results obtained from finite element model and they show very good agreement. |
