Popis: In this paper we present the results from the design and evaluation of a speech-operated calendar application for a mobile usage context. The design was evaluated by using Wizard of Oz HTML prototype implementation with high-quality text-to-speech (TTS) prompts, operated by a facilitator instead of automatic speech recognition (ASR) and dialogue manager software. Our evaluation showed that the usability requirements of intuitiveness and learnability were met quite well. However, speed and efficiency needed further work. Overall the users were satisfied with the functionality of the system.
