Popis: | Mass transfer in membrane supports is a challenge in forward osmosis (FO) membranes. A solution is a gradient structure with high 3D interconnected porosity constructed of fibrous elements. Porosity diameter should decrease from hundreds of microns to tens of nanometers in less than a half millimeter thickness. The foam forming method is used to construct multilayer carbon based support structures. |
