| Popis: | When designing the Finnish Allergy House it was decided to use classified materials in order to reach a good indoor air quality. The IAQ measurements were started after inauguration. The emission measurements (TVOC, ammonia and formaldehyde) were performed in two rooms; in room 1 (a concrete floor cast on the site) and in room 2 (a cored concrete slab). The effect of outdoor air on IAQ was also determined. Using low-emitted materials (M1 classified) the IAQ reached S1 class after inauguration. The specific emission rate (SER) of the installed vinyl floor covering was higher during the first weeks of installation when installed on the concrete structure than in the classification measurement, but reached the classification value in 6 months, and the planned S1 class in IAQ was reached the planned S1-class value within 2 months. |
