Abstrakt: An experimental investigation is reported on the solubility of CO2(l) in water at temperatures from 278 K to 293 K and pressures from 6.44 MPa to 29.49 MPa and on the corresponding densities of the CO2aqueous solutions. Based on the experimental data, an expression for the Henry's law constant as a function of temperature and pressure was obtained. Good agreement was observed between the experimental data and the prediction made using the modified Henry's law and the resultant Henry's law constant, with a maximum difference of <6.02 per cent. Based on thermodynamic theory, a relationship for the dependence of the density of the CO2aqueous solution on the density of pure water and the CO2solubility was derived which represents the experimental data with a maximum difference within the range of the uncertainty of the experimental data.
