Abstrakt: Barium–ammonium polyphosphate (BaNH4(PO3)3), bismuth–ammonium cyclotetraphosphate (BiNH4P4O12), and titanium–ammonium tetraphosphate (Ti(NH4)2P4O13) have been synthesized in the melt of ammonium polyphosphate (NH4PO3). The prepared phosphates were characterized by chemical analysis, thin layer chromatography, and X-ray diffraction of powders. BiNH4P4O12was found to crystallize in the cubic system, space groupI43dwith the unit-cell parametera= 15.105(2)Å. Thermal decomposition behavior of the phosphates was studied by thermogravimetry and crystalline products of degradation were identified.
