No Heading Translational-rotational interaction in two-dimensional dilute solid solutions of diatomic molecular impurities in monoatomic cryomatrices is investigated theoretically. The interaction is shown to affect sufficiently the impurity rotational spectrum which in turn gives rise to low-temperature anomalies in the heat capacity. Peculiarities of the spectrum and the impurity contribution to the heat capacity are analyzed in details. |
