Abstrakt: The recovery and reuse of antimony resources is crucial to suppress the increasing antimony pollution. In this study, Fe@MnO2composite was prepared by continuous redox etching, which showed a hollow rod-like structure stacked of nanosheets with a large specific surface area and rich pore shell structure. It can reach an exceptionally-fast adsorption equilibrium in 200 s, and a maximum capacity of 252.7 mg/g. Adhering to the concept of sustainable development, the waste adsorbent is reused in antimony ion batteries. In electrochemical testing, the used-adsorbent exhibits a high specific capacity of 158 mAh g−1and excellent stability. This study provides new insights into the removal of antimony and opens new ways for the reuse of resources.
