Three patients treated with an initial inductive course of OKT‐3 after cadaveric transplantation experienced reactions 9‐13 days after their first dose. The reactions were compatible with IgE‐mediated anaphylaxis, or resembled serum sickness. The cause of the reactions did not seem to be related to inadequate immunosuppression or to OKT‐3 IgG antibody formation. |
