Abstrakt: Cloud computing signifies an evolutionary step in the world of information technology as it provides multitude of advantages over traditional model. The fuzzy rule-based assessment of the cost benefit analysis for cloud computing provides effective cost management to the organisations. In addition to that, the current generation entrepreneurs are inspired to start new ventures with minimum financial strength. Therefore, effective cost benefit analysis became an integral part of cloud migration nowadays. Benefit of moving to cloud platform depends on numerous features like partial utilisation, data duplication, lower capital expense, frequency of new tool usage, variable workload, multi tenancy, scalability, flexibility, etc. In this research, three fuzzy inputs - probability of data duplication, capital expenditure and probability of workload variation are considered among the above parameters as fuzzy inputs to determine the cost benefit in moving to cloud.
