In this paper, we have investigated the structural, morphological and magnetic properties of La0.4Ho0.1Ca0.5MnO3half-doped manganite prepared via sol–gel technique. The structural study indicated that our sample crystallizes in the orthorhombic structure with Pnmaspace group. The morphological study revealed that our sample is nanosized with a mean particle size around 57 nm, with the presence of sintering necks. The temperature-dependent magnetization demonstrated a wide ferromagnetic‒paramagnetic transition with the presence of a glassy state at low temperatures. The evolution of the inverse of the paramagnetic susceptibility displayed a deviation from the Curie‒Weiss law, indicating the presence of Griffiths phase. |
