•Chromatogram of the GC–MS analysis carried out for the identification of the phytochemicals present in the MOLE indicated presence of 41 compounds.•Main compounds were steroidal fatty acids methyl ester, such as hexadecanoic acid, methyl ester with possible estrogenic bioactivities.•Photomicrograph examination of sections of uterus, ovaries, and liver in group Two, group three and group four showed severe alterations in histology of the tissues. |
