Abstrakt:	Enantioselective total syntheses of (+)-cylindricines C−E and (−)-lepadiformine through a common tricyclic intermediate are described here. These syntheses are concise and feature an aza-Prins cyclization and a seldom-used Wharton rearrangement en route to the common intermediate.
