Flux Growth, Thermal, and Luminescence Properties of (Tb3+, Eu3+):GdGa3(BO3)4, Multicolor Phosphors

Abstrakt: The present work presents the synthesis and growth conditions of (Eu,Tb):GdGa3(BO3)4single crystals from a high-temperature solution Bi2O3–Ga2O3–B2O3-(Eu,Tb,Gd)2O3. Segregation coefficients of Eu3+and Tb3+doping cations were determined for the grown crystals, and their structural features, micromorphology, thermal characteristics, and luminescence properties were investigated.
