Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma (BSCC) is a very rare but aggressive subtype of squamous cervical cancer. BSCC usually arises from hypo pharynx, base of the tongue, salivary glands, and oesophagus. The origin of BSCC in the uterine cervix is rare. BSCC must be differentiated from other tumours of cervix to understand its precise clinical behaviour, management, prognosis, and collect more data. |
