Abstrakt:	Two cholecystogram examinations were carried out on each of 85 patients, using pheniodol in one instance and a new compound, telepaque, in the other. Telepaque was found to produce a lower incidence of nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. Owing to its higher iodine content, opacification of the gall bladder was greater than with pheniodol. The optimum time between administration of the drug and taking the radiographs is believed to be between 10 and 12 hours.
