The editors of Orthopaedic Radiologyhave assembled a series of essays on a variety of topics by authors working in these specialities, some of national, some of international renown. The publishers have produced a convenient and handsome volume of nearly 550 pages, illustrated by radiographs of aboveaverage quality and the text is virtually faultless. The concept behind the book is good. Professor Hughes explains in the preface that there were two main objectives, the first to indicate the range of investigative techniques available and the second to identify orthopaedic problems for which radiology can be useful. |
