| Abstrakt: | Replying to the letter by Thomas and Thomas, referring to further measurements of wedge factor with field size, made on a modified ABB linear accelerator; we confirm our agreement with their hypotheses.It is clear that a number of different, complex factors contribute to the variation of wedge factor with field size; one of the most obvious ones discussed in their cited references being source to wedge tray distance. |
