Supply chains have become more dynamic, intertwined, and interdependent due to this process of globalisation. These supply chains are also marked by external uncertainties, such as fluctuations in the currency exchange rate, adjustments in the import tax rate and so on. Thus, a business needs to achieve a strategic edge to handle global supply chain uncertainty and related risks. This study focused on the link between organisational factors and the management of biodegradable plastics supply chain risk management to sustainability, as well as the role of coercive pressure as a moderating variable. The use of intelligent supply chain risk management of biodegradable plastics is critical to focus on environmental challenges while also managing economic and social advantages. This research will also determine the level of biodegradable plastics risk management in the supply chain and build a risk management supply chain system to help Malaysia's biodegradable plastics increase substantially. |
