| Abstrakt: | A convenient method for the preparation of α-hydroxyimino cycloalkanones has been established by the reaction of cycloalkanones and nitrosyl chloride. ω-Cyanocarboxylic acids or their derivatives were obtained in good yield by the Beckmann rearrangement of these α-hydroxyimino ketones. |
