(Eight 9-substituted 9-(2'-bromomethylphenyl)fluorene derivatives) (1) were prepared. Their conformational equilibria (ap\ightleftarrowssp) are discussed on the basis of kinetic data for internal rotation obtained by 1H NMR spectroscopy. |
