Abstrakt: The hydrophilic cotton filter was found to be more effective as an injection nozzle than any other hydrophobic polymer filters tested to make smaller oil droplets of n-dodecane dispersed in continuum water phase. The droplet size is reduced with an increase in the hydrophilic property (especialy, the hydrogen bonding force) of the polymer surfaces.
