Abstrakt: 2'-Anthraquinone-modified oligonucleotide (AQ-ODN) possessing a disulfide terminus has been immobilized on gold surface. The AQ-ODN modified electrode exhibited faster electron transferability in double-stranded form than that in single-stranded form, providing a new type of electrochemical DNA sensing device.
