| Abstrakt: | Monohydrolyses of symmetric diesters were carried out using several aqueous inorganic bases, LiOH, NaOH, KOH, and CsOH. The more reactive bases showed higher selectivities in the monohydrolyses of acyclic symmetric diesters. |
