| Abstrakt: | Petasitin, a component isolated from a wild variety of Petasites japonicusMaxim., has been shown to be 3a-[(Z)-2-methyl-2-butenoyloxy]-11-hydroxyeremophila-6,9-dien-8-one, and has been synthesized from the known isopetasin by photosensitized oxygenation. |
