| Abstrakt: | A new type of SN2′ reaction in which the nucleophile enters to the leaving group occurs in the acylolysis of 4β-bromo-3-keto-5β-steroids (1) to give 2α-acyloxy-3-keto-5β-steroids (2) as a product. This reaction pathway was observed by NMR and by tlc. |
