•The BTE of the H2-enriched nano-fuel (39.5 %) is higher than the diesel fuel (32.4 %).•The addition of H2to the nano-fuel improved the combustion properties of the blended fuels.•Using TiO2nanoparticles with H2at a moderate flow rate reduced theemissions of the blends.•The blends were characterized by shorter ignition delay periods due to their combustion properties.•TiO2nanoparticle addition to the biodiesel improved the physicochemical properties of the fuels. |
