Abstrakt: •A MIL-88 was fabricated on the surface of cosmetic cotton fiber by in-situ growth method.•The Fe2N@PCF-800 with Fe2N structure displays a large specific surface area and rich N doping.•Fe2N@PCF-800 exhibit an excellent capacitance of 552 F g − 1, promising for the future development of asymmetric energy storage devices.
