The influence of the associated circuit of a low-pressure tubular fluorescent lamp on the propagation of the noise generated in the lamp is discussed. Two types of noise, cathode noise and anode noise, have been distinghuished by the use of an electronic method. The cathode-noise is subjected to a more detailed investigation, particularly the re-ignition noise. |
