Abstrakt: The electrodeposition of Zn is a method widely used to protect materials from corrosive attack of the environment. In this type of baths the corrosion resistance increases when added to the bath nanometric materials as carbon black. Coatings in this work were produced by electrodeposited Zn with nanoparticles of carbon black with the aim of measuring the corrosion resistance of these coatings after additions. To obtain coatings used an acid bath based sulphates varying the time and the current for thicknesses greater than 2 μm. These baths were added 2 g/l of nanoparticles to generate the nanostructure coating. The coatings were evaluated by different techniques such as electrochemical potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to determine their corrosion resistance in the presence of sodium chloride 3.5%. The results revealed higher corrosion resitance property of composite coating.
