Ovid Met. 15, 838: an apology (of sorts) to Loriano Zurli

Autor: Reeve, Michael D.
Zdroj: AL. Rivista di studi di Anthologia Latina; November 2022, Vol. 13 Issue: 1 p95-102, 8p
Abstrakt: In a discussion of passages from Hercules Oetaeus, Euripides’s Heracles, and Ovid’s Metamorphoses, the author rejects Zurli’s doctrine that conjectures should stay as close as possible to the letters transmitted but concedes that it may avail in one of the passages from Metamorphoses.
