Abstrakt: Mankind is being alerted about the gravity of the imminent global cataclysmic event through various forms of messages from Mother Nature. Global stakeholders and government officials around the world are enforced to take up the daunting task to solve intricate issues such as global energy security, mitigating climate change, abating the release of greenhouse gas emissions, etc. Scientists are exploring avenues to tackle these major issues sustainably and in the greenest way possible. Green hydrogen is one such potential answer to all the global concerns. It can quench all the energy requirements for a plethora of applications without adversely impacting the environment. An attempt is made to elucidate the potentiality of green hydrogen generation using electrolyzers and their integration with fuel cells by the medium of this review.
