In the digital era, where technology is integrated with all areas of business and new models are developed, it is essential for organisations to prepare their workforce to compete in the new world of work. Hence, it is imperative to investigate learning style preferences and attitude towards change acceptance of their diverse generational workforce, to equip and develop them in an appropriate manner, so that it can flow with the tsunami of digitalisation. Today's workforce can be divided into three distinct generational groups of employees - Generation X, Generation Y and Generation Z and research has concluded that generational differences exist in the workplace. This paper proposes to examine learning preferences style of each generation and attitude towards accepting change of the three generations in the automobile industry. |
