Abstrakt: Treatment of ischemic disease of the lower extremities is challenged by uncertainty and complex correlations among factors. Also, early detection and treatment have a valuable effect on saving patients' extremities from amputations caused by chronic obliterating diseases of the arteries of the lower extremities. We develop a hybrid fuzzy logic rules model to classify severity of ischemic lesions of the lower extremities so physicians can choose the prevention and treatment course. We use health indicators including rheological indicators, volumetric blood flow velocity, along anatomical zones of the lower extremities and regional systolic blood pressure. The model gives the following classes: mild, moderate, severe and critical severity of ischemic damage. Fuzzy rules to differentiate severity levels are set by medical experts. The proposed decision rule classification model exceeds 0.95. This model shows increasing necrobiotic changes in the ischemic extremities which helps preserve organs from amputation.
