Abstrakt: Seeds are excellent sources of proteinase inhibitors, some of which may have satietogenic and slimming actions. We evaluated the effect of a trypsin inhibitor from Tamarindus indicaL. seeds on weight gain, food consumption and cholecystokinin levels in Wistar rats.
