Abstrakt: Introduction:It is most important to measure blood pressure (BP) exactly in treating hypertension. Recent recommendations for diagnosing hypertension clearly acknowledge that an increase in BP attributable to the ?whitecoat response? is frequently associated with manual BP recordings performed in community-based practice. However, there was no data about post office BP that could reduce whitecoat effect.Hypothesis:we evaluated pre-office and post office routine clinic BP and research based automated office blood pressure (AOBP) measured. Methods:The study population consisted of 100 consecutive patients with hypertension between April 2018 and November 2018. We measured routine clinic BP and research based AOBP before and after see a doctor, respectively. Seated blood pressure and pulse are measured at each time after a rest period using an automated device as it offers reduced potential for observer biases. Research based AOBP was measured using an Omron device and measuring BP 3 times un-observed. We compared each BP parameter for identifying exact resting blood pressure state. Results:There was significant difference pre-office systolic BP and post office systolic BP (130.04 ? 15.15 vs 125.95 ? 12.97 mmHg, p=0.049). However there was no difference in the pre and post office diastolic blood pressure (70.12 ?14.18 vs 72? 13.63, p= 0.280). In the research based AOBP comparison, there was also significant difference (pre office research AOBP vs post office research based AOBP, 124.57? 13.8 vs 120.92 ?13.1, p=0.03) For routine clinical practice, Post office clinic systolic BP was not different with pre office research based systolic AOPB (p=0.639)Conclusions:In our study, post office research based AOBP was most lowest representing resting state. Although post office BP was more higher than pre-office research based AOBP, it might be used for in the routine clinical practice.
